The Tuscobia State Trail is only a 1/2 mile from The Rustic Lodge and is accessible by ATV and snowmobile via Lake Winter Road.

The Tuscobia State Trail is a 74-mile abandoned railroad grade that runs through Barron, Washburn, Sawyer and Price counties This is a multi-use trail: hiking, ATV & UTV riding, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and biking .
Lake Winter is a 676 acre lake. It has a maximum depth of 22 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye
